I tried Qupis once but I got the same result when I tried to use a smf forum. I set up the forum and then when I would go to the link the forum was supose to be at it just showed the link but the forum was no where to be found. I never tried to figure out the problem because I was there just to test it out and see how big the ad was. I hope you get this sorted out and I'm sad to say I can't help you because I couldn't figure it out for myself.
Good luck getting this problem solved and if you don't figure it out you could always come to trap17 for post to host no ad hosting.

i have a similar problem. i don't even know how to get the forum onto the webpage.
can anyone tell me how to install the forum software onto a webpage. i don't have the webpage or the forum yet but i'm thinking of doing it in the future with ipBoard or maybe vBulletin but everyone seems to have problems with vBulletin so i guess i'll go with ipBoard.

First off guys, let me stress that both Vbulletin and Invision Power Board are NOT free. IF you want to use them for your site or forum, then you will need to BUY a license if you're using Invision Power Board, or a lease or a license if you're going to use Vbulletin.
Then, secondly, uploading is easy. If you downloaded the software from your client area, then all you have to do is import the .zip file that it came with to your hosting account, via a file manager in the Control Panel. Secondly, if your using vbulletin you must supply your customer number in the little conformimation box, when installing Vbulletin for the first time. If you're using IPB, then you do not have to supply any such information. BUT, when you're doing installing IPB make sure you login into your client area, and set your license to tyour current IPB url. You will be given a big number which you will need to put into one of the settings present in the IPB admin section.
Anyway, once you upload and extract the files, you will need to run the install script. For vbulletin it is
http://yourulr.com/d...all/install.php
REMEMBER: For Vbulletin, before you install you need to edit a config.php file located in the includes folder. DO THIS BEFORE GOING INTO THE INSTALL URL OR IT WILL NOT WORK.
For IPB it's
http://yoururl.com/directory/install
You will have to go through a process of Chom'd different directories to different numbers, in msot cases. For example, you might have to chom'd one directory from 665-666 and so on.
Once you successsfully chom;d the files, you will need to then make a mysql database. go into your Cpanel, and click on the mysql database option. There you will have to make both a database, and a username. With the username you will need to add it to the database, and set it to all permissions. Once you get the mysql junk all set you can then add it to your installing setting. Once you get the mysql db thing all installed, you will then be asked to insert your username/password for the admin account.
Once your done, delete the file in install/install.php and your done. I know the directions are a little sketchy, but how they help.
