Any self respecting metalhead ought to know about venom :|.
When someone gets his hand on a Venom CD, expectations are bound to be high. For a band that revolutionized metal and gave us what we call black metal today, one would naturally expect an album nothing short of spectacular. But venom's latest effort was nothing short of a musical disaster. When one of the pioneers of overt prorogation of satanic views start to sing how the planet is being destroyed by man, one cant help but notice that the band is dying out. Songs like "eviloution deviloition" and "USA for satan" were comical, "straight to hell" and "stab you in the back" were plain lame. There comes a phase in every band's period, in which they have to retire gracefully. Venom has gone far beyond that. They created a legacy and have forever etched their names within the metal genre and its time they know that its over for them.
