- My interests include include NASCAR, space exploration and my nine year old son. I have been a construction worker my whole life. I came down with some rare diseases a few years ago and can no longer work full time. I went and got an associates degree in computer science. I ended working on the lap top server network that flies on the shuttle and international space station at NASA here in Houston Texas. The only problem was that I couldn't stand going to the same old office every day and doing the same old stuff. I like to travel and have new experiences. I'm grateful that my conditions aren't any worse than they already are. I would go to the hospital for treatment and always see others that were worse off than I was. My idea is that no matter how bad things seem to be, I can always find something to be grateful for. Hence TheGratitudeShop. I know that the name is an oxymoron. Gratitude can't be bought no matter how much money you have. My goal is to share my experience, strength and hope with others so that they to may find the hope that I have.
