I have an account at dntemplate and it's a pretty good place to talk. I don't post for their point, because it's really hard to buy something with them, but others might want to get free domains instead of getting it for 8 bucks.

If you are not targeting po*rn then trap17 is way far satisfactory. The features and the support that you get is unparallel. There may be a few hosts which provide similar or more features, some being byethost, 000webhost, but the up time is not satisfactory. One of the free host which does not put ads and is fully free with latest features was my favorite until their server started to get server down times beyond hours. I would on daily basis get reports that the site monitored under awardspace.com is down for a few minutes to hours. I finally decided its time I leave awardspace. I still have the site running but am not giving any support now.

I agree Awardspace for free is bad...It is not only bad for downtime. But its features are very very limited. First one is its Control panel is not CPanel ....thats a crappy one and most of its space is reserved to their ads only. We have to search carefully in that control panle to locate the control options. And other features like no of parked domains etc...are very limited. No installer like Fantastico available for free accounts...
The next one Bytehost is the worst of all free hosts. You don't know where you are going(misleading redirections) if your site is suspended or if the user go to an invalid page...

Good offer but pretty much the same happens at trap17 I'm perfectly happy where I am at the moment. And I think the n4me.eu you can only renew your domain for 2 years using credits. Is there a similar limit here?

Thanks you very much for this website. It is pretty useful to me, because it will help me to get extra domain name once I get on from trap17.
Eventually, since we are already hosted at trap 17, why not buy one there. It is much better, but it is still useful to know that we have a chance to have one from somewhere else if we ever want to use many domain names for some reasons.

There is no need for that any longer. Now Xisto offers you free domains by posting and gaining mycents. The system is actually quite system, and easier, imho, then some other free domains hosts as well. It also comes with free whois, which other companies charge. in addition, the domains are in our control and we can do whatever we like with them. Some other hosts and domain companies would make you not be able to do that, and they would be the main holder of your domain, which in essence allows them to do whatever they want with it if they so please to.

Ridwan sameer, i did not insult you nor i offend you with my words, it was not my purpose, but if you feel like it, i am sorry, i take all that i said right away.

Let me respond in other words, and also at the same time, explaining why i was not sensitive enough to give you a good reply and review of the trap17 system/new system as well as other good free/paid web hosting servies out there on the internet, and the reason is that i am tired of members coming here at trap17, register to get free hosting or whatever, and then create topics or give replies about web hosting services other then trap17, why, because in my opinion, we should have respect for the trap17 website forums at least.

Imagine you was the admin of trap17, and then you see a topic about web hosting/free domains poiting to other websites, to other services, wouldn't you feel betraid by your own forum members, members that you are fighting to keep, to give the best always and at anytime? I would, and so that is the main reason why i answered you in a insensitive way, but i am sorry i di that.

ehmm let me break it down for you

1) Adertising another site? hmm i wonder what im supposed in the freebie section? why dont you tell me? Link to a page that says "FREEBIE" ? I eman this is really for telling about sites that offer free stuff right? lot of people do it,

2) In no intention am i, does DNT offer hosting? no, and i in no way said that it was better, was tryng to give you all a nice site to get domains, but if you guys cant go beyond " Trap 17 ROXX" then just leave it alone. Im in no wya saying that it is worse/better now am i? YOu show me where i said that and ill allow you to sew me ok?

I mean you guys arent showing maturity to COMPETITORS ( hey ragav.pl, you know what that means ) I mean Trap17 is not the MONOPOLY in free domains and hosting, there MUST be some thing out there thats better, but alot of people prefer this, and so do i, Whenever someone ask for free hosting, i direct them here, SO wheres your comeback now?

You are somewhat right ridwan..I understand your point. But we should respect the fact that everyone has their own opinion. We (Either you, or me, or some other) cannot say someone that "you should speak like this". Because everyone has his own feelings and opinions. If someone feels that trap17 is best, that's their opinion, may be you think otherwise and that's your opinion. Just like you are expressing your feelings freely, let others do so....Let us express ourselves. There is no matter of maturity here....
By the way..NO OFFENSE.. just my feeling.
