Hey, there.

So I would think that you would be able to use myCent to order anything from Xisto since it doesn't look like Xisto has any discrimination between where the money comes from. The reason I am asking what we are allowed to buy is because only the 3 logic plans say they support credit system v3

I'm pretty sure that you can purchase any of the available items from Xisto using the dollars earned from myCENTs. A reason I believe why it is explicitly stated that the three logic plans have support for the Credit System v3 and left out for the rest of the plans/misc is that these options are cheaper, and using money earned from myCENTs to cover a more costly plan, such as a VPS, would be fairly difficult due to the number of posts required to hold up the monthly payments. If it was said that a VPS was supported by the Credit System v3, then people could be left disappointed upon realizing they would need to make hundreds of post a month!

Alright, just checking to make sure. And lol, yeah, how many posts would it take per month to pay for the dedicated server? :)

Domains and Hosting packages , which I think is a great idea. Mycent serves as actual money when purchasing packages and domains

It is not the quantity of your post that matters, but it is the quality. 10 long, good quality posts would earn more than 10 short one-liners. :) It is a fair system.

It is the virtual money you get at trap17 and astahost forums for posting your opinions and thoughts. It is no way related to the real world currency(except here, where you can purchase hosting or domains with your mycents just like with real money). So, you may not get desired results if you search it on google. :P

You can find more about myCents here... Details about MyCents

now i'm just wondering that if you decide yo go ahead and buy a domain name then does it come with full dns control or would you have to change the nameservers to some otherservice like easydns , because whilst i know that you xan change nameservers i'm unsure about the dns control.

If you buy a domain here, you can change your name servers to whatever hosting service you wish, because you are the owner of the domain. But Full DNS is an addon package that you have to buy at an additional cost.

Welcome sakmac. As per the information we are seeing here, Full DNS Management addon pack costs $0.99 USD per year. And yes, you can purchase these addons also with your myCents.. :P

Hi, i'm presuming that you would have to purchase it by navigate to some section which contains all of the addons, much like purchasing a domain name. I also want to ask are there any other additions that can be purchased, and as no one's replying to my other post, can I buy as many domains as I want, and can I like hold competitions like win a domain a month, and buy it for them using mycents. Of course I would give them my username and password, I would make them use an external dns server.

But I just want to confirm whether this is allowed.

An furthermore, does nayone know which scripts this mycents is, because I want to use a similiar system on my forum, but I am just unsure of what script to use. Thanks

I didn't found anything like the thing you mentioned only on XiDomains I found where you can buy full DNS control but only w/ real money, I guess I'll just submit a ticket at XistoSupport. :P

I think you can buy as many domains as you want as long as you pay them with your myCents of course but I don't know if giving out free domains is allowed, though I know you can gift a free hosting or a domain to someone.

I think that this has already been asked and answered before by OpaQue saying that the PHP script is not in the public domain and he's not giving it away :P I think you'll have to look for other mods. Also, I guess this script only works with IPB.

Ah well, i suppose i'll just have to use something like easydns, but I suppose you can't have everything free.

And thanks about the script, I;ve seen loads of these kinds for phpbb3, so i'll just go and check in the repository.

Can I use this hosting account to give hosting to Others?

Yes, Once you feel confident that you are earning myCENTS like PACMAN, you are welcome to buy multiple packages and gift them to your friends. :-) You are also requested to invite your friends to our forums :-)

Opaque posted this, so I suppose if it applies to hosting I can also do it for domain name? Correct?

I also suppose that you can buy anything and everything with myCENTS earned...

It is a fabulous system you just have to share your views and you get the most demanded service on internet for free..That too the quality is not the local one it is a Branded hosting from ComputingHost.com which is quite famous across Internet for its cheap hosting and domain names.s.......

If i am wrong please correct me. :P
