The Telecom PSU BSNL does not provide good service conditions for its employees.
This is what I have to say after going through the experiences.
1. The unions are involved in activities related specifically to members of their own union, and if the employee is of another union , no favour at all.
2. Senior officials are least bothered about what their subordinates do and are at always ready to go home even before office gets over.
3. Many smaller exchanges are on rented buildings and are not even having proper toilets and even if they do have one the cleaning expenses received are shoved by SDE's.
4. The management is a part of DOT (Govt body) and the employees are under PSU, so even if the employee gets a peanut the management is least bothered.
