As a promotion for the new game in the Command & Conquer: Red Alert series, EA released the first game of the series for free download.

To download it, read this article and download the ISO files.

http://www.ea.com/re...etail.jsp?id=62

Having a virtual disk mounting program is reccommended, such as Daemon Tools or PowerISO.

Heck yeah, lets go old school guys. Nothing quite like a bit of Original Red Alert to set the world to rights.

Thanks Coolcat!

I've tried playing Red Alert since I went out and bought The First Decade before... but even with compatibility mode, the game loves to crash on the first mission. Hopefully this will actually let me re-live the memories of Hell March. :P

The red alert 3 must be an incredible game, did you all see the demonstration, it has a lot of top quality and popular actors from the real world movies entertainement, check it out.

Concerning the free game, i am not sure but i think the game is of strategy, and if it is, i will never play it, i do not like strategy games, they make me fall a sleep quickly, i prfer first person shooter world war II games, with plenty of germans to kill slowly.

Nice share though, i must say that i am interested in the red alert 3 game, which is not free, but i did not know about it.
