I have a problem with my taskbar on my Windows XP.
WHenever I use Alt-F4 to quit a full screen program, my taskbar sometimes disappears and no small blue line appears.
When I roll my mouse to the bottom nothing appears.

Everytime this occurs I have to press the start key and go to options to set it to autohide and not autohide again.

Is there any way of efficiently solving this problem?

My man, I also have the same problem sometimes. Exactly the same problem. But I think my problem occurs less frequently.

I also want some effective solutions for this problem.

Coincidence is non-sequitur, therefore everything has a reason for its existence (except if they are eternal).

Have you tried having the program exit full screen mode and then hitting Alt+F4? Maybe the program wasn't designed to pay attention to whether or not it is in full screen mode before it exits, therefore not telling Windows to bring things back to normal. Either way, perhaps shortcutting should be avoided until you find out the reason why that is. I suppose one way to test to see if it is the program and not Windows is to try it out with every program that allows to be full-screened. If a certain program doesn't mess it up, repeat and see if it does this time around. Do this about three times. If nothing messes up, then move onto the next program. Repeat.
