I have been thinking about the conversion between MB and MiB. MiB is binary as it has "i" in the middle. But for example:
I have 1024MB of stuff. Would that be 1000 MiB or 10000000000 MiB? Where the 1000 is base 10 and the 10000000000 is binary.
I am really confused about whether I use a binary number for the MiB or a base 10 number for MiB. It seems to me that as MiB is a binary unit, then I should use a binary number...
Does anyone know the answer? Or any information is appreciated.
