Have you read the God Slayer Chronicles by James Clemens??? There are 2 books published for now which are Shadowfall and Hinterland.
The plot is really well planed and the characters are very alive.
It is a fantasy fiction book with magic and medieval stuff. If you like lord of the rings, you should take a look at this.
