I am using firefox 3.0.1 and it was working fine but suddenly it's navigation toolbar is locked.I cannot click any buttons like back, forward, stop or reload even the url address bar though opens the site but does not show the url.I installed a toolbar mywebsearch may be that may have caused it because it happened after installing that mywebsearch toolbar.

Disable/remove the mywebsearch toolbar and see if it works again, if it doesn't, then reinstall the browser.

Well done for installing spyware into your PC :(

Take it as a lesson to never install browser toolbars. 99% of them are virus ridden, badly made, extremely difficult to remove, spyware, adware and irritating. The other 1% are not necessary.

Uninstall the addon (well, except you cant do that because its a pain to remove... so instead google "mywebsearch remover", download and run the tool after ensuring it is safe.) And then try firefox after restarting your computer.

Firefox already has a built in search function and popup blocker which is everything that mywebsearch offers anyway, so you really dont need it.
