hi

I heard this on the radio the other day.

How to call 0800, 0808 and 0500 numbers free from your mobile.

Had a look and seems to do what it says but as of yet I haven't tried it myself.

If you are making a lot of 0800 etc calls it should be useful to you. :)

If you read the fineprint on the website, this service is only 'free' assuming that you get free minutes to call landlines as part of your mobile phone package. Basically, you have to call their line first, after which they link you up to the 0800, 0808 or 0500 you wish to call. You still have to pay for the call to their 'free' line, either with free landline minutes or at the standard rate.

As the saying goes, "nothing is free".

Why not try Iphone applicationCall 0800, 0808 & 0500 Numbers

I heard there was a new iphone application to interrogates a database of 08 numbers and automatically puts you through to the underlying number saving a fortune. Also try http://www.intelesis...VirtualUK08.php
