I also use xe.com to find exchange rates for assignments, transactions etc. However, it is a real shame though that Paypal tends to have their own exchange rates that differ significantly from real world exchange rates, so xe.com becomes less useful as a result for those changing currencies in Paypal.

When it comes to online money it has no use. Nevertheless very useful and very popular site compared to lesser know world currency websites.

Sites like xe are useful only for knowing the basic currency conversions. When it comes to dealing with real money conversions, each person has their own rates so basically there won't be much use of it. But for a quick reference, it's a great resource.

Currencies keep changing every other day - if you ask me, it's best to follow the daily newspaper for such a thing  Seriously though, after sometime such tools aren't that practical to use in daily life.
