I don't mind having 'A' text ad on the bottom of my pages. However, Qupis is putting them all over my page, apparently because I'm using frames. Obviously this will be a problem. ;)

Any advice on how to fix this so I can keep using Qupis?

P.S. I just tried moving the frame source documents to a secondary folder to see if the ads might not activate for them there, but again, no dice.

Coincidence is non-sequitur, therefore everything has a reason for its existence (except if they are eternal).

Why use frames? Frames are impractical now-a-days. There are many reasons why one should dump frames for other alternatives. Qupis supports server-side includes—go with that instead. If you don't know PHP, we can help you get you started on that with your site.

Ads are placed on pages by inserting the ad code into each page served by the server to the browser. When you use frames, the browser makes requests for each individual file, and therefore each one gets ads inserted into it.

As truefusion has suggested you could develop your site so it doesn't use frames for layout, and use server side includes to include repeated sections such as menus and footers.

What I wanted was a decent looking website capable of subdivided partitions. It seems Qupis is incapable of this, and I am tired of the Trap17 post requirements - I write for fun, not to keep myself a website. I don't want to feel chained to writing like that. I guess I will have to find another site, which is too bad, since Trap17 otherwise had many good features.

And as for Trap17, I don't even know what happened to the credits shown - they just stopped showing them on the Trap17 forums at one point making it impossible to tell what the credits were anyway. I'm tired of trying to figure out that confusing system.

There are many alternatives that you can use to subdivide your website. I would highly recommend using them instead even if you do decide to use another host. Frames are unpopular now and show the public that you are a novice web developer. Whenever I stumble upon a website with frames on it I immediately leave, regardless of what content is on the website.

I agree that a big change has occurred with Trap17 using myCent's instead of credits. You can read more about them here. However it does seem like you have already made up your mind. If you do decide to go with another host, would like to wish you the best of luck with your new host. Either way, I implore you not to use frames. They are unprofessional and will drive traffic away from your website.
