I changed the cpanel password after logging in! After I changed the nameservers it worked - or seemed to, I was able to access Cpanel - but I changed the default password to suit my memory. After that I created a mysql database and user for wordpress.

After that my ftp client couldnt log me in, before I realised it was because it was using my old password. I changed the password to reflect the new one I made, and it didnt work! Was it because the ftp client put in the incorrect password, triggered to block my ip?

My nameservers dont seem to work now, I cant even see a page at www.filmdesire.info

This is what it says in the email :

Control Panel URL: http://208.87.243.146:2082/
Once your domain has propogated, you may also use http://www.filmdesire.info:2082/

None of them work for me :P

I tried the old password again, it just doesnt work. It comes up with a broken link error... does this happen to you?

I need to start soon, and I havent got a reply from support...

Did I do something wrong here???

EDIT : I JUST TRIED http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi...7.243.146:2082/ - and the FRONT END WORKS! Does this mean my IP is blocked???

Please submit a support ticket in your Xisto Support Area. Ask support to take a look. Moderators here cannot do anything about it, though the Admins can. Just submit a ticket and be patient.

I can open your filmdesire site with my phone (because i'm not on my pc at the moment) just fine, it just an empty site without any index file
And i tried going through your cpanel, it can be opened too.

Maybe you should try it again?

No, I think you need to submit a support ticket and ask to have your IP unbanned. If you tried to login three times without success, I'm certain the IP gets banned.
Support can reklease the ban fairly quick, once the ticket is received. Provide a 'critical' status to the ticket.
And fix your FTP password in your local software.

Ive submitted a ticket, hopefully should get something back by tomorrow, thanks for the replies!

EDIT: YEP - IP address has been banned, i came up with this idea because if I browse thru it thru a proxy anonymous - i can see the empty index file!!

i.e.

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi...filmdesire.info

THanks :P

Hello filmdesire,

We have unbanned your IP address. It was banned because of 5 failure login attempts made to your FTP account. You can access all the web services associated with your account. We have replied to your ticket, Please check it and if you have any issue. Feel free to update the same ticket.

Regards,

Nik
