I don't know whether karaoke is the correct word i have to use here. my intention is to edit mp3 files such that only the background music remains and all the lyrics are erased/silenced. is there any software available to do this? it's no problem even if it is a 30-day demo or something i just need it for a week and i need it to do the job fully. so any help please?

I know someone who uses a software name KaraFun. I'm not sure how he uses it but I know it has something to do with making karaoke songs/mp3.
