:) Hello Guys,

A month ago I understand I had a trojan in the Internet. I scanned it with Trojan remover ( Free trial for a month and apparently worked). However two days ago I found out the the PC had sent out emails to almost 100 people. I was a mixed of dissapointed and mixed pissed at the whole thing. I have been tryng freebiess from the Internet, some work some dont.:P

I currenlty have a Yahoo Account. Somehow ater the unauthorized outgoing email happened, I sent an email and the Yahoo email asked me to enter the Antispam Verifcation code before sending it. I thought to my self great coindicence so the PC will not be messing around anymore and sending unauthorized emails. However somehow that was the only outgoing email askign for a rerification code. Toughluck! , Since then the PC continues with the same issue and I keep trying it to remove Trojan with Internet freebies. I will be going to BestBuy or similar to get someting for Trojans,:D

I know there is software for emails and an antirootkit.Posted Image

1)Does anybody can recomend one antirookkit and one that can remove all or most trojans?

2) By the way, I havealso Microsoft outlook. Would it allow me to use it with my yahoo email at least for outgoing email?

3) Last but not least .Does anybody know if Yahoo Plus" ( Yahoo upgradded for $19 a year) plus has the Antispam Verification Code feature?:P

Thanks guys!!:D

I used to love using MS Outlook. But they bring more trouble than its convenience.

If you have the ability, uninstall MS Outlook. Use and check your email using the web browser for now.

By uninstalling Outlook you can eliminate the possibility that your Outlook is sending unauthorized email (worm). Remove or change all SMTP/POP password with your ISP (if you have one).

And monitor your email activity for about 1 week or so. Oh, this also means change your Yahoo or whatever your main email account's password(s).

In the mean time, you can begin to remove suspected trojan or worm in your computer. Run antispyware and antivirus in SAFE mode as well. If you don't know how to enter in SAFE mode search the web for your computer. Usually hold down the F8 button when you start your computer and you'll see startup options.

Finally, if you are still unsure about the complete removal go out and purchase antispyware or antivirus. They are about $30-$40 and it may be better than going through annual service or subscription.

I too had a lots of problems with these trojans, malwares. etc. Just get Malware Bytes and run a scan in your system . after that use Nod32 Antivirus and then run a scan .

This Malware Bytes + Nod32 Rocks. It removes all the back doors. Here please note that malware Bytes is not an antivirus. its a malware removal tool. Remember DO NOT RUN 2 ANTIVIRUS ENGINES IN YOUR COMPUTER SIMULTANEOUSLY !!

Before you go ahead and but an antivirus kit, I suggest that you try Avira Antivir. I had a similar problem once and it found over a thousand infections (1000!) in my system and removed them quickly. After that I moved to Linux and didn't get the need to use antivirus again :D OK anyway try the Avira Antivir personal edition, which is free to use for a year. If you're still not satisfied with the result then go for a paid service.

First of all, the easiest way to remove is to use ESET NOD32, you can get a free trail of it and it should fix your problem. If you still face the problem, download Avast - Free Edition and get rid of it by putting it in the treasure box. Eset Nod32 can also monitor your system so that you don't download anything with a virus inside it.

You can also call up Mircosoft on their virus help line, its a toll free service that you can use so that the Microsoft people can walk you through the problems in your computer, it doesn't have to be virus, you can use it for any computer related problems. But, its only inside the United States and Canada but you can call through Skype if you want, the number is (866) PCSAFETY (727-2338).

Wow Rick2 certainly has gotten a handful of suggestions. But is this member gonna return? He's got only two posts, and hasn't made a post since 01 June. I hope we haven't lost him.

Does that really help? I've heard that service isn't very reliable and it takes you forever to get through? I'm happier solving my problems through forums anyway :)

i recommended you to try "trend micro internet security pro", you can download the trial version from the official website. it is the best antivirus i ever used, so download it, and scan your whole pc in the safe mode. also it contains an option for scanning your e-mail from "internet and email controls" which contains even more options to get rid of the viruses and malwares, so if you want try it and good luck.

There are various software available on the internet. You go to the Google and type free trojen remover software. And then install it in your PC. Nod 32 is best option for removing trojen viruses.
It automatically deletes viruses. Before sending & downloading any file check for trojen viruses then continue this will help you to keep your PC virus free.

I recommend using Kaspersky Internet Suite and fully update, self defense turned on since Kaspersky is way much better than NOD32 on the process of detection and elimination. NOD32 on the other hand is second to the best and it fails a lot for the last 4 quarters in comparison to Kaspersky. Please note that NOD32 and Kaspersky are both high end viral removal, picking which of the two can destroy the rootkit gives more scale end to KIS (kaspersky). This does not mean not to try NOD32 since the two are on constant battle for winning the top ranks on cleaning viruses.

If possible, do not try to clean an infected computer with rootkit virus using the same computer, it is wise to scan using a second clean computer using a network scan and granting the second computer full access to the infected computer while the infected computer is not granted access. This can be tricky.

If a second computer is not available, you need to update your kaspersky antivirus offline since 99% of cases when rootkit hits your computer, those well known antivirus sites will be blocked. A good thing for kaspersky is the ability to grab boot from windows on an infected computer (KIS 2010 and KIS 2011) making it possible to remove the rootkit virus effectively.

You can also try malware bytes removal or MBAM to remove those rootkit spywares. Be warry that those internet links that appear on random specially on messengers are virus carriers 90% of the time. Avoid clicking them from your messengers. Also there are virus that comes from USB devices so disable AutoRun on USB and CD/DVD drives.

And also be noted that prevention is much better than cure. :D

Try Bitdefender free antivirus or kaspersky....... Look for email scanning as you need it for outlook...

I use the pro version and have not yet had issues with it ....

Use separate add ware and spyware programs on your computer for full protection...
