When we install xampp in our system, there is no password for mysql.This will be a security issue .All of us will be search for how to change the password.If we changing the password our own way it will get perform unmanner.The mysql password is using in phpmyadmin, mysql, php etc , so the below steps helps to change the password in an easier and simpler way.

after starting xampp, go to browser and type http://localhost/security( include prt number if modified)
then the security page shows how to change the mysql password, file zilla password, mercury settings etc..
