I recently created a google apps standard account for a new domain. But unfortunately I quickly forgot my new cryptic password I created for admin.  I searched a lot of pages, arrived at the official page: http://www.google.co...n&answer=43315. but it doesn't give the link of what it says to be control panel, also "I cannot access my account" in the login page tells to ask admin for password reset which is myself.

After wandering through 20 or so posts, finally I found the link. May be it will help others:

Replace YOURDOMAIN.com with your domain name.
In the first step, you need to enter an email so that google can contact during password reset password. In the next step, to verify the ownership, you need to enter a CNAME record which it displays from your hosting account and point it to google.com.
