The current version of the MySQL server installed on the main server is 4.0.22-standard-log The current recommended version on the main mysql developers site is 4.1.10 from 4.1 branch they are also upgraded 4.0 brnach to version 4.0.23...

I know that u got all links but anyways here they are:
http://dev.mysql.com.../mysql/4.1.html
http://dev.mysql.com.../mysql/4.0.html

Or plz increase number of allowed connections to the server because my site's uptime is approximaly 60% a day :D

i agree. MySQL is down A LOT. Site uptime if using mysql is horrendous. This is why my sites don't use mysql here. I have to develop my own database in a txt file and develop my own code to sort and display them. It's a lot of work but atleast my site won't be down when sql goes down.
