I got several AVCHD video clips from my new Sony HDR-SR10E and i wanna to do some editing to these clips with Final Cut Pro(FCP), but i noticed that AVCHD can not be recognized by FCP. Is there something wrong with my way of operating or some other problems .I am new in digital camcorder and video editing, so if you know the reasons, please tell me how to solve this problem?
Any advice will be appreciated.

you can try to use Aunsoft mts converter to convert AVCHD file to other format that FCP can support, it has professional profile to FCP .you can give a try.
