I'd prefer the iPod touch because I would like something separate from my music and my phone. But having an phone with a built in iPod is SOO COOL to me. I can't afford it due to my brother withholding the at&t contract information from me at the moment! I'm so ready to buy one of the either.

Which one would you prefer?

I personally do not own neither the iPhone nor the iTouch but if I were to get one, I would probably get the iTouch. There's no need for me to get an iPhone. All it really functions as is an iTouch but is more expensive. Also, I already have a functioning phone so there's no need to replace it with an iPhone.

Ipod touch has many issues and it's not feature rich either. Camera quality is also not superior in comparison to iphone. You can read some reviews of ipod touch before making purchase.

One thing to note here is that if you are buying ipod touch just for listening to music then don't compare with iphone. It's just waste of time. You get best music out of these two and if your sole purpose of buying that gadget is to listen to music then why waste time buying iphone for that.

Neither. Have a look at the HTC Evo:



If you just want a media player with a touch screen then there are better devices out there than an iPod Touch.

If you need a phone with inbuilt media player then the range of phones from HTC are far superior to anything Apple has churned out, and they're cheaper.

Yeah, I want a mp3 player, but don't know which one to get.

Which one would you recommend me?
I burned out my iPod nano by accidentally having the charger, while still plugged into the iPod, soaked into a mini puddle of water on my table.

I have neither of them too. i prefer a htc desire to them which has an android os. when i want to buy a phone i always check the price/performance i think apple phones are expensive compared to their ability . when i compare available softwares i don't care about piano software or the guitar one i compare office & pdf viewer , multimedia player capable of playing divx / xvid and mkv , Web Browsers and etc. when you compare this type of softwares and the hardware specifications like cpu and ram you will find that apple iphone 4 just doesn't worth your money when something like htc desire is available.

the ipod touch and Iphone are very similar. actully the Iphone is an itouch without the phone and camera every thing else is the same. I got an ipod touch for my birthday from a girlfriend and my mom got me an iphone they had no idea they were gettiong me similar products. The ipod touch was good because the storage is 64 Gig and the Iphone is only 8 Gig so in termse of storage i like the itouch but then assuming they had both got me 64 gig storage consoles i believe they would have been exactly the same save for the aforementioned major differences.

While i know they are pretty expensive i have found both to be very versertile. I mean IPOD and Iphone have the APP store and thats the biggest edge they have over so many other consoles. You see because you can update and download the latest the apps it automatically means you have a sort of different handset every now and again. This is not to say that the handset changes completely i just mean you have the ability to download loads of new free apps and they will keep you entertained for hours on end as if you have a new gadget. just save up and buy either and you have a good product in your pocket.

i understand other companies are playing serious catch up on the android market but in my book the Iphone and Ipod touch are serious leaders in the market. Its not gonna be easy catching up.

OMG, That's hillarious!
I've been seeing a lot of cartoon type ads made from that site lately, it seems to be getting very popular! They are even doing simular cartoon type ads and playing them on TV. Guess it's a lot cheaper than paying actors!

I own a iPod Touch 4G and it is awesome once it is jailbreak. You can almost do anything with the tweaks. You can customize the way you want. I don't need an iPhone when I already have a regular phone that does the job.
