I like the new version of Opera. It's kind of stealing Chrome's minimalistic look but that's fine with me, it has all the benefits of Opera with the sleek appearance of Chrome. It's hard to tell which is faster, both are better than Firefox. I haven't tried Opera Unite features but they seem surprisingly useful. It makes sharing files with friends easy. I can't wait to see how Opera does in the extension department. The extension database is showing promise but it's far from comparing to the massive amount of Firefox extensions at this time.

Essential addons are already being made available on Opera. Check this out:

When will you support a browser extension for Opera?

Good news -- Opera recently announced that they will start supporting extensions in Opera 11. We have been in contact with them and are working closely to fix bugs and provide the core functionality that we will need for LastPass. As soon as Opera can support LastPass, we will release it. Stay tuned!

Great news from the LastPass team!

I head this news for last 1 year. I even came across one post from someone that said opera will support extension but for more than year there was no progress. Opera turbo and mini are updating very frequently and are good browsers. I just hope that browsers after opera 10.63 will come up with some good features.

I heard that they are also deploying for mobile platform. Looks like opera is on roll.

I am using Opera browser as my main browser since Opera version 7 and it's really good and fast, don't have any problems with it, even though some people don't like the interface, but I am alright with it, in fact it's quite hard for me to now get used to Firefox, as it seems to have lots of things integrating into it as Opera, but with things I don't really need.

I mainly use Opera and Chrome, which is very good due to it's so minimalistic, I hope it won't get full of things like Firefox, but will continue to be a simple, light, fast browser. Hope same for Opera, that they wouldn't put any unnecessary things which may slow it down or make it more resources hungry. :P

Opera is my favourite too.. Definitely it is faster than Firefox. The one and only reason i use firefox is about its extensions. There are many useful extensions there for firefox, but unfortunately Opera is still behind firefox. ;)

One of my favourite features in Opera is its mouse gestures. I really enjoy them. For example I save a lot of images from internet. To save an image I just press Ctrl+click. Very easy, isn't it?

With every major version, Opera is adding new features. Opera Unite and Turbo. They are good. Opera Turbo is very good when I connect internet through my mobile's GPRS connection. I hope opera will continue to impress in future too..

I personally do not like opera to have extensions because i think extensions will slow down this great browser.

The look is not important for me too and i liked the previous versions gui that these new versions. Opera has inspect elements which i haven't seen in any browser. this feauture is very helpful for web developers who are designing their page.

i think opera should add these options : 1."Show only this frame option" in right click menu (like the one in firefox)
2.Better download manager
3.better adblock system

now, i am using opera 10.63 just because it is the best for the knowledgesutra forums. but my usual favorite browser is firefox, it is the best for web developers. and has a lot of useful extensions, like firebug and fireftp. therefor i have now both of them on my pc, opera to open the forum and navigation through the net and firefox to use it when open my cpanal and work with my site.

and i must say that the speed dial up of opera is so helpful, other than that i prefer firefox with extensions or not.
