Recently I have given up on my old school Boss 4-track. I plan to purchase a Mac Book Pro along with Pro Tools. I DO NOT want a mixing board, I know it isn't necessary to have one. But I do know that I need some kind of input device to capture all of the pics at once.

For example, when I record drums, I need all of the tracks to come up separately on the pro tools interface. So I need something that connects my Mac Pro to the actual microphones.

I also plan on purchasing a complete Drum Microphone Kit; kick mic, snare mic, all toms, condensers, and all clips and stands.

As you can see I am starting from scratch. I looked at several "recording packages" but none of them sufficed.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
