He weighed 1.3 pounds and his heart the size of an apple. His chest is as long as the doctors finger. Why was he born this early? How did he survive this? Find this and more out here:

Sorry, I said his heart was the size of an apple. His heart was actually the size of a grape. Then, he had to have open-heart surgery.

Wow, poor kid. If he survives, who know what other sort of complications he may develop as he grows up?

Then again, I've known some kids to be born weeks early and grow up to be perfectly healthy. Let's hope it's the latter in his case.
