abstract tiles ? hmm. that could be one explanation for this sig. You can get some more inspiration from color lovers site. I found similar tiles- abstract one on color lovers site. They have lot of such abstract stuff and i'm sure they'll enjoy your abstract colors tiles signature image.

hmmm i won't consider it as a signature, because signatures should have something to represent their owners. and it took me a few minutes to see your name hiding in the background :P. so as mahesh said i will consider it as an abstract, and it looks good. i will rate it 5/10 even we can't use it as a background image in websites. because here is no reflection between the left and the right side or the top or bottom of the image and reflection is important to use an image as a repeated background, i hope you get the idea. any way, you did a good job in choosing color and the design, and it is nice to see you try new ways of designing :).

I agree with Mahesh2k. Colour lovers is a great website, and will help put a theme to this signature, what may look good is some sort of faded image int eh background some something, maybe like a run down city? or a hightech city? Maybe even a circuit board, but it has to be very subtle.

It could represent his feelings, or personality in abstract, I see artists do it all the time. I have to disagree with Web_designer though, I think the colours are a bit bland for this kind of signatures, I'm not saying you need to go for a like neon green, just something more warming possibly.

Overall I give it a 6/10, It is a good idea, and a great starting block for a new style of signatures for you, keep going at it and don't give up.
