Well... it was funny when I read it at first, but I think it's quite natural of a web hosting provider to dictate what kind of content can be on its servers. Heck, some will take you offline if your site is using up the bandwidth that YOU PAID FOR. (overselling bull****)
One thing about being able to host porn still remains as a mystery to me. If I'm not mistaken, xisto permits streaming. Even if we assume the site wouldn't have video streaming, bandwidth usage would still be huge because of the large amount of graphical content being downloaded.

Also, you could've copied the whole thread, anwiii. Anyway, I don't think this is BH's "fault". I'm not implying that you think it is BH's idea, but with the "-BuffaloHELP" stuff and not quoting the whole text and just that one line plus your history with BH kinda makes it seem that way. Decisions about the hosting are, after all, made by Shree himself?

BTW, I tried to search for the board rules (while I was searching for your source), but it leads me to the main page... now that's funny.

i also don't think it was anyone's fault or was trying to blame anyone for anything. i just thought it was pretty funny that what i originally quoted was a main point to the post. this is why i posted it in the jokes category.

personally, i like the rule. i mean if i were to choose between all male porn or all female porn, the answer is obvious. why would i want to see two guys naked and going at it?!? but the rule is still targeting gender. i thought that was pretty funny. i know buffalohelp didn't post it to be funny though. it just turned out that way. what would have been funnier if male only porn was allowed and female only porn was disallowed.

what i find odd though is that it states this rule was posted april 1st(april fools day) and it shows on buffalohelp's profile that he hasn't logged in in over 6 months.

what i also find odd is that the webpage or webpages created have to be legal within the laws of the united states and it goes on to discriminate against gender when the united states supreme court has been very clear in how the united states does not tolerate gender discrimination. so that one rule is sorta contradictory to united states law when we are asked to follow it.

i dunno, maybe i am the only one who finds humor in this. i still laugh about it because i can just picture buffalohelp saying "ABSOLUTELY NO all male gay porn will be tolerated! but ummmm, all girl lezbian porn will CERTAINLY be welcomed!"

it even demands you upload your porn images on knowledgeSUTRA first. porn on knowledge sutra? if that isn't a funny rule, i don't know what is! haha

Well, it was definately april fool's but since you mentioned the law thing... I don't think it's illegal to permit gay porn on a private company. It's not discriminating people, it's bordering content. If they didn't provide service to gay customers or didn't hire people because of sexuality, it would be discrimination. Sure this is 'kind of' discrimination, but it's a joke...

I wouldn't want to notice or comment on this but given the track record of united states supreme court and government, it has WAAAY BIGGER sexual discrimination stuff to deal with (like its states' laws) than trying to "not tolerate" gender discrimination in a small web host. just sayin'...

that's right bani that's why once the u.s. supreme court sets a precedence, they don't have to deal with it anymore. the lower courts of every state would have to follow federal law. i dunno if anything like this has appeared in u.s. supreme court, but PORN has specifically and the case was not discriminating. it was ANY porn. ofcourse, it would still have to be presented within the laws already written....

anyway, it was posted on april 1st, but was it an april fools joke? if so, who posted it? buffalohelp hasn't been online in over 6 months according to his profile like i said....

Absolutely agreeing with you, KS should not allow ANY porn, whether gay or lesbian. And if it were really an April fools joke, then no wonder we all are so *BLEEP* headed that we ponder on matter that are so irrelevant and funny. I have my opinion that porn of any sort should not be allowed on KS. This will attract many people and users with mal intentions and run a risk of creating chaos for the moderators. People like you who encourage the fact of porn saying it to be funny makes me believe that people have no business in the Internet and if they have 30% of their time is spent on porn sites.

Having discrimination on no gay but allowing lesbian porn is a discrimination on women as a whole and must be dealt with seriously. I oppose your views on making such fun of women as you must respect the lady who gave birth to people or else you do not belong to good breed at all. Jokes apart, there are more male porn people than women but as because men rule the offices women are so wrongly portrayed. Shame on your views to demean women.

And allowing porn behind login page is also irrelevant as you allow the password free in the net and the KS becomes a porn site. What a mess it can be. Not funny by my standards.
