Hi.

I wanted to put up a question as a layman, about inheritance of Blood Groups.

Me and my wife are both B+ Blood groups.
My son is also B+.
Now recently on being told to submit Blood Group results for my daughter, I found that she is A+.

Can any one really understand why this could have happened. I trust my wife completely, and as a science student, I can not comprehend, where and how this could have happened. And if this is Genetic mutation, what are the probabilities of such a thing happening.

I would be grateful if I can really understand the result of her Blood Group.
