The countryside and the city



Preference

Why would someone like to live on the countryside? A lot of people prefer to live in a city. The city is the place were the jobs are. The head offices of banks are in the cities. The offices of the governments are in the cities. Lots of people go to the city to find a job. The countryside offers few jobs, hard work and low wages.

Everything is far away on the country side. Like a theatre. Or a pub. And a restaurant. If somebody likes to visit some friends a long trip needs to be prepared and to be made. Interesting things are far away. Malls are not found between the cows. People and friends can't easily visit the people that live on the country side. Transportation is far away. The bus stops and the train stations are far away.

Like nice buildings, ancients spots and churches and monuments are mostly in the cities. A museum is rarely found on the country side.

Like with buying groceries somebody needs to take good care that nothing is forgotten, because it needs a long ride to buy something in the grocery store in the nearby village.
