Hello.

While posting an introduction, I noticed that the forum has a "Similar Posts" feature. While it did successfully get posts with similar content, the dates of the posts were way back.
I wanted to answer a few PHP queries but then I saw 2006 was the date when it was posted.

The point:
Similar Posts is a great feature but showing such old posts is making it useless.

The Suggestion:
This mod: http://community.inv...similar-topics/
This may or may not be the one currently installed.
It has these features:

• choose sort type: random, last post, start date
  
• choose sort order: descending or ascending

These configurations should work pretty good:
Sort type: Last post ----- O -- Sort type: Start date
Sort order: Descending - R -- Sort order: Descending

I've actually noticed this as well... And with old topics like that it's worthless to read most of them as well.

On the same note, the search function is the same way -- ridden with useless content.

Thanks for the alert, I have changed the settings to show more recent posts in the similar section.
