The next piece of software that I want to talk about is called Greenshot, it is a small screen capture software that small in size and yet powerful and easy to use. But your going to say "that is crazy SM all I have to do is press my Prntscrn key to take an image why would I need this?"
So glad you asked, well first off it comes with its own built-it image editor that has various functions that you can use to make quick edits to your image and of course save as well. On top of that it comes in three modes of capture; Region Capture, Window Capture, and Full Screen Capture.
The last two should be self explanatory but as for Region Capture mode, you basically drag your mouse to anywhere on the screen, click, then drag to another area and then release. What this does is capture that specific image for you and so this is useful for banners and header images especially since it also tells you the height and width of the image your taking as well.
"But SM i got browser extensions that can do all this so your still crazy."
Not all extensions can do this and I don't know too many that use key commands (shift, ctrl, alt, (Print)Prntscrn) in order to take images on top of that it is small in size so it won't take up much space and not slow your web browser down.
"Ok I am convince, so where do I get this great, free software?"
Easy you can either visit their website http://greenshot.org/ or download the current version of their software here http://sourceforge.n...ad?source=files.

Welcome Back Spammer
Now back to the topic, when I read the description and features, I started having bouts of deja vu because I use Fastone Capture as my picture capture software and after installing Greenshot, I was right. It is the exact same copy of Fastone Capture, but not the premium version's copy. In the premium version, FScapture gives you many more options like scroll snap(where you click and the software scrolls down to take a picture of a really long page). A feature from the free version that could have been added in GreenShot is the predefined regions.. It basically would detect boxes for you making selection that much easier..
But great software none the less, thanks SM.
