Pencil Drawing [photoshop]

Here's how to make pictures were drawn in pencil!

1) Open up any picture

2) Apply Filter>Stylize>Find Edges.

3) Press CTRL+U

Settings:

Master, 0, -100, +57

And that's it! Your picture now looks as if it was drawn by hand.

thats awsome, do you have a quick way of doing it in fireworks? i know how to do the find edges thing, but what does control+u do? is there a simmilar command for fireworks??

awesome tutorial. :angry: !Good job, keep it up. J miller i think the CTRL+U is a shortcut for hue and saturation colors right? not sure if thats correct. and the same effect should work with fireworks to.

Wowww..that really good.
I used to try the find Edges style and it never good for my photoshop working. But now I'm seeing how to use it and it really work and nice tip for me.
Thank a lo... I hope you will teach me and everyone about the basic of photoshop in there.

Yes, CTRL+U is the hue and saturation.

That's great! I use GIMP2 and Paintshop Pro, but it shouldn't be that hard to translate it. Very simple, but with good results.
