Can anyone suggest a program for repairing or recovering files from a corrupt RAR file. I cannot seem to locate any program other than Winrar which will actually try to repair the RAR archive ?

yes, its possible to repair the corrupted file...
u can go for an Advanced rar repair tool version 1.2
it will help u to recover the files which are corrupted...

There seems to be plenty of programs available online if your search Google for 'rar file repair'. However, I have personally been unable to repair corrupt RARs in the past, especially RAR files that do not have a recovery record inside the file. Although not impossible, the chances of successful repair are quite low, so the best option is to simply redownload or recopy the RAR files again. If you are downloading RAR files from the Internet, bear in mind that it is possible that the RAR file could have been corrupted on upload too and not just limited to downloading.
