Is it possible to change my domain name from existing binod12.trap17.com to a name like binod12.co.xx or something like that?

What is the meaning of parking a domain? Is it possible to change the domain name by using this feature?

It is possible to change your domain but still required to include .trap17.com
Other alternative is to register your own domain for .com .org etc.

Parking a domain is to register a domain but effectively using it.
It is useful for people who want the domain name but is not prepared to publicize it. It simply means taking ownership to the domain so other people will not be able to register that domain name.

Domain name usually once registered cannot be changed.
So you have to decide your domain before registering.

Edit :
Parking a domain is to register a domain but NOT effectively using it.

Here's how these domain stuffs works :

When you get and register your domain name, they simply means available for you to control.
What you have to do is to sign in to your domain account and go to any appropriate control panel in it.
From there, configure your domain such that it redirects visitors from the domain to your site.

For example,
I register a domain name, say, www.idiots.com
I login to my domain account and configure it to link to my webhosting page, say, www.idiots.trap17.com

So now whenever any user enters www.idiots.com, they will be brought to www.idiots.trap17.com

Hope that helps..

If you use the Trap17's nameservers, you can park the domain

Garbage I answered your question in your topic. If you go to http://trap17.com/process and click Change Domain you can change your domain but it will cost 15 credits. You must point your nameservers to NS1.TRAP17.COM and NS2.TARP17.COM This will get rid of the sub domain altogehter. Or you can just park the domain by pointing to the nameservers but it will just take you to the subdomain.
