The first age I saw when I clicked that link was unbelievably crap, it just annoyed me. Then when I entered the core of the site I was quite impressed. Neat layout. If he wants more hits then he could try submitting his site to Google. :)

I get a "page cannot be displayed" error on my antique laptop (a Pentium with no numbers after it--LOL!). If the site is only for high-tech folks, it won't matter, but if he wants the rest of us to visit, he'll have to change something.

Posting to lots of forums is a good way to get more traffic, but it is very time-consuming.

here's the main suggestion..get another host. geocities sucks, advertisement sucks. i'll post a more detailed revision later, don't have much time now.

The splash page is highly unnecessary, but the flash animation itself was cool. :) The core site is really the best in my opinion. It's neat and easy on the eyes. If you NEED to have a splash page then make it so that it follows the same theme with the layout of your actual site. Also, as others have pointed out, don't use webhosts like Geocities because of the ads and server instability.

Hi

Yes the splash page with the vocal "This is a recording" sounds real amateurish, you should stay away from that for a pro look. Once inside the site, it's not all that bad, I love the colors, there aren't too many and they go well together. The fonts are a little small maybe, some folks might have a hard time and try to resize them which can be hazardous with some browsers which I don't have time to try now, In I.E. nothing resized.
I also would put a banner with a logo or the name of the site on the top and navigation buttons at the bottom.

I like the site but it really doesn't need and intro page, that's just old and outdated. The only thing that really, really needs work is the inside pages. Once you click on games (they're alot of fun by the way) the list shows up in a not so nice table with borders, just think you could do tons better concidering what the rest of the site looks like.

Thanks for your feedback people. I will get rid off the intro page as soon as i can find out my .tk password. I can not for the life of me remember it so thats why i have to use geocities as that is the host i used when i signed up for my .tk Again thanks for the feedback i am taking it all in to consideration. Cheers, Karl
