Well, I put "Others" because really I have several, first of all I have a Dell Inspiron XPS, then there is my crappy, crappy, really crappy Packard Bell that I have turned into a hardrive for the Dell Laptop stated above, and then I also own another PC I am custom building (it's still in the works, it has a unique processor too!) and that has an IBM that became out-dated about four years ago as a harddrive too!
So in conclusion I have two good PC's a Dell, and a Custom Built one, and they each have their very own out-dated or very slow PC as a harddrive. :)

I have a custom built computer- only because I couldn't find a computer that would fit my needs. I needed alot of RAM, a good processor, and everything else ment jack. When I found a computer I though would be good for me, it had a 200GB hard drive and cost $1500... I built one to fit my tastes, for $750.

I go the customized way. It's cheaper and I can get what I want without having to worry about a company installing software I don't want and putting in cheaper parts without me knowing.

<3 AMD 64.

MS Windows Server
2gigs DDR Shared SDRAM
triple 20 g HD's

My current computer that I own is an IBM ThinkPad, which has been very reliable, but I plan to upgrade to a desktop asap. I find that the hard drive in laptops are very slow.

I will probably build my own customized computer with hopefully top of the line equipment -_-

Only sad thing is that computers become obsolete after a year, so you have to constantly upgrade it so you stay current.

Most peeps have customized... lol

I have a customized one for a server -> 3GhZ+ 1GB Ram 160GB hard no video.. (it's a server )

And the PC i use is really *BLEEP*ed up -> Hewlett packard Processor Intel Celeron 2600MhZ 256 RAM 40GB hard drive...e its really old thats why specs are a little lol... although most of peeps think its stupid that ur server is faster than the pc u use for games, internet etc... i don't really care... :P
