I dont know about the CAT5 cable but I've heard about the Belkin easy transfer cable. It was a recommended listing when I was getting my new laptop. I figure its the same as your computers being on lan, so you plug in the ends into different computers and then access the files using lan. Set up your file sharing properly or you'll never know where the problem is. I've also heard people talking about a cross cable but thats all I know about it. The next best things would certainly be a router like the above poster said and you can also set up ftp or soemthing to make it a little more convenient in the long run.

The game does sound awesome but I'm really sceptical about the balance. What is going to stop me from creating a vampire and a slayer and play the vampire in the night and slayer in the morning ? If loads of people do that, its gonna break the game without proper balance at any point of time. Might check it out though. Sounds really interesting.

To me it sounds like she's not very certain about what she wants. I am pretty sure she likes you a lot but she might also like your best friend. Of course this could very easily mean that its over for you or that it means nothing. The best thing for you to do might be to confront her. Tell her you trust her before you start anything. Tell her you heard she sent that message and you dont trust it. Tell her you like her. Make sure she comes out and tells you what is happening. You should either be taking it forward with full trust or break up right now. Carrying on without trust and getting hurt is the worst thing to do, trust me !
