Help Making A Quartz Timing Circuit For 4040 Counter
19 May 2012 - 11:41 PM
I have a hand full of 4040 ripple counters and another hand of quartz crystals. How can I set up a circuit that uses a quartz to create a clock pulse for the ripple counter. Right now I am using a 555 timer.
Well I've Not Been On Here In A While.
18 May 2012 - 02:24 AM
I've been preoccupied with other stuff. So here is a quick rundown:
I graduated high school this past Friday, I plan on making a 300 watt flashlight, I took an AP Physics class....twice, my knowledge in electronics is still increasing. What else? I just took an hour trying to log in here - the facebook button keeps giving an error and I didn't remember my credentials. Also, Linux Xubuntu is now my favorite OS, my birthday is in a few days (6). And except for static, I have not gotten any electrical shocks recently.
And lets leave it at that for now.

Songs About Running -Sort Of- For Qwop
01 August 2011 - 07:01 PM
I need help finding songs about running to put to QWOP, the world hardest running game. The songs need to be well known and as early as the 80's. So far I've used "I Ran" by A Flock of Seagulls, "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden, "Little Runaway" by Bon Jovi, "Runnin' Down A Dream" by Tom Petty, and I'm looking for more in my music collection. I'm doing this for irony, as no one in my house has beaten "QWOP".
If you've not played "QWOP" yet, go do it. It may help you help me for selecting songs.

I Hate Iso Files
24 July 2011 - 07:58 PM
ISO files suck. I can see whey they exist, but you need a special program to burn them. I'm trying to fix my desktop PC by reinstaling Linux, but the file you download is an ISO. I burned it to a disk thinking Windows would extract the files inside the ISO then burn those files. Now I have to burn it again with a certain program to do it right.
I HATE ISO FILES! THEY SUCK!

Gp5 Wont Save With Error
21 July 2011 - 07:44 PM
When I press the save button, I get the error: Erreur E/S 112
Then it puts an empty file on the PC. If the file is old, and I'm making changes, it empties the file and gives that error. I'm going to uninstall/reinstall GP5 to see if it fixes. I just need to know why it does that in case it doesn't fix or if it happens again.
NOTE: GP5 is a program called Guitar Pro 5. I'm running the latest version 5 (v 5.2). The latest latest version is 6.something.
I just uninstalled/reinstalled. It didn't work
