About Me

I was born and raised in California (Sacramento Area). Attended Grant Union High School in Del Paso Heights and Highlands High School in North Highlands,CA. Went to American River College (Sacramento) and Michigan State University (Ludington,MI Extention). Have lived in Michigan all my adult life (moved here when married for the first time). For some 30 years raised and trained horses for personal use and showing. Have a daughter who is a Firefighter and EMT First Responder. Am now retired and living with my second husband in a small community (population 6,500) on the east shore of Lake Michigan in northwest lower Michigan.

I am young at heart. Enjoy very much the challenge of keeping up with as many modern advances as I can manage. I am self taught when it comes to coding and have not yet tackled anything beyond simple html and some css. I design graphics and templates for beginning web site builders.

Oh yes, my favorite colors are purple and green, as if you can't figure that out for yourself.

In Topic: My Hospital Experience

I was recently at the Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas for treatment on a Saturday night. It took 8 hours to diagnose a broken bone in my foot. They were 3 nurses short on staff, they said. Anyway, if you got charged so much for your stay, I dread seeing my bill. Although, I do have insurance and I hope all things are covered.

I do know when you owe a hospital you are not charged interest. Any payment you can afford they have to accept as long as you make it every month. I am sorry to hear of your health status, seizures are very serious. My broken foot will heal in time, how lucky for me. Good luck!

LOL Good for Daddy. If my child did that to me, I would probably not destroy the laptop, but take possession of it for myself. It would be more cost worthy. That being said, I can imagine his anger got the best of him. He really taught her a lesson, didn't he?

from Mich in Michigan USA. I have been here since Jan 2006. Things have changed a lot since then, so I guess you really got a surprise coming back last Sunday. Seems like there are not as many participating in the forums as there used to be. I, for one, have not been a steady participant. Life seems to get in the way.

This guy IS interested in you. He just doesn't know how to handle his feelings. Being protective of you is normal when you care about somebody. Sounds like he is really trying to control himself around you because of his strong physical attraction. Best friends can become lovers, but take it slow and let it grow. Good Luck. :rolleyes:

Sounds to me as if you let her walk all over you and she lost respect for you. There has to be a mutual respect here in addition to love. You were young when you got together in Hschool and now you have grown apart. This is something that happens all the time while going through your maturing years. It doesn't make you feel any better to hear this from somebody, but it is the truth. I sympathize with you being so torn. Breakups always hurt a lot. Try throwing yourself into a hobby, sport, or somekind of other project to take you mind off the hurt. Volunteer at a nonprofit organization, maybe. I wish you peace and harmony in your life. You CAN pull through this. Good Luck.
