Grand opening for a new web hosting company happens today, September 1st, 2011. it's a post to host company, but you can also purchase web hosting for as low as .36 a month. That is not a typo. About Me
my interests are many things. mainly, i love the internet and researching. especially if it has to do with website creation and search engine optimization. i love movies. i have a good collection and will watch 1 or two at night while eating dinner. i love the outdoors and nature. i like to sit outside sometimes just to clear my thoughts. i also like exploring in my car seeing where the road will take me....sometimes hoping i might just get lost and have to try to find my way back home. i'm strange 
i like to think and i also like to try to get others to think because life is more than just getting by and doing those things that can make us creatures of habit. i love people. everyone is different and have their seperate stories about them. i like to people watch more than i like to approach them. these are just a few of my interests. i have many....i am also very complicated 
i came here to trap for free webhosting. although i still get free hosting and my domains are free as well, i am here because of the community and the knowledge everyone has to share. it's really a great place.
i don't give off the nicest guy impression at times, but i really am. i love people even if i sound like i don't like ya haha. i really do love helping people sort out whatever problems they may be having in hopes i can somehow help or guide. i think i am good at doing that. more than most because i try to pay attention and read between the lines. i also like trying to put myself in the shoes of others. although i will never fully understand what someone is going through, i can have a good idea.
life IS a big part in how we affect eachother. this is why it's important to always keep a smile even if you have to fake it. maybe you can transfer that smile to someone elses face where they in a crappy mood and NOT faking it....and they can give that smile to another stranger.
i am a somewhat private person. i am very complicated. i tend not to let people in to my own problems. i have many hahaha. i like helping people through their own more, and i know it can be unfair sometimes when i don't let people in. not giving people credit in the possibility that they can help me.
i am pretty blunt at times, but usually, i try to talk with a little humor. when i think i need to speak something that someone will consider negative, i will always usually try to think of something positive too because the positive stuff is what everyone needs to be motivated.
that's pretty much a quick summary of who i am and why i'm here. i recently won the DR. PHIL wannabe award on trap17. i always wanted to be a wannabe hahaha

At Astro Loco, we've been working hard to code this forum where members can earn credits towards their hosting. it's finally finished and we need you your input. so far we have:
aside from all the mods we did to the forum so far, we have also just finished our main page. visit our site now and give your honest review here. we are pretty proud of what we have accomplished so far in such a short amount of time.

In Regards To Xisto Support

this is in regards to xisto support which is a continuation of my last topic here...
velma, don't be so quick to lock topics as other members may find certain information usefull.
in regards to not being able to change my dns records, your dns records can't be pointing to another webhost or even the name servers for computing host. the required name servers you must have are...
* om1.computinghost.com
* om2.computinghost.com
* om3.computinghost.com
* om4.computinghost.com
you need these name servers pointing to your site before you are able to change most of the dns records although i am still able to change ns records. i'm not sure why they require it this way(nor did i ask) but that's the way they have set things up and i got a straight forward answer.
if you want to register name servers, they don't give you that option directly(i don't know why) so one will have to create a support ticket if you want your new name servers registers (ex. ns1.yourdomain.com n2.yourdomain.com)
with all the *BLEEP*ing i do about xisto recently, i have to mention something. meredith has replied to a few of my tickets in the past and has actually been the most productive support person over there where she will answer questions clearing for the most part. velma recently has taken an active role at xisto which in my opinion is probably the best thing to happen for the company in a while and has tried to look in to things even after i have been rude and impatient. opaque has stated speficially that if you aren't getting your tickets answered properly, he will take an active interest in it which i have had to use his help in the past.
i wanted to mention this because if anyone is having problems with xisto support, you need to contact these people. i have never had a problem ONCE when these people were taking care of my tickets personally. all the rest of the people are mediocre or just plain ignorant to your your concerns.
one of the biggest problems i have faced recently is that xisto is in india with india phone #'s after setting up their new office. it would be nice if they could provide some sort of u.s. # or some other type of gateway to contact them via voice
i know i dont's directly pay for hosting and neither do most people on kowledge sutra, but i know how much ads make for a forum and in the long run, the posts people post make more money in the long run than paying cash for hosting. hosted members should have the same support for hosting as do cash paying customers.
personally speaking, i hope velma never leaves xisto again. she is a great asset to the company and i hope she can manage a balance between helping out over there and fulfilling what she is meant to be doing for animals because it will just be a great loss if xisto loses this person again.

Someone Click "reset Password" By Entering My Mail Address

again they are doing strange things to my account. i just recently recieved an email...
now pardon me, but i never reuested any password reset. the ip is from a certain section in india so i am assuming someone tried to reset my account. it's just the lack of stupidity on their part when they mess with my hosting without telling me and now messing with my password to login for support.
if this is a bug, then you guys really need to fix it. i tried logging in and my password still works. go figure. in any case, i don't like people messing with my accounts without my knowledge. that is VERY SHADY BUSINESS. this message came right after i entered a support ticket
which is another thing. my dns records aren't even propogating. they should have propagated my now. no doubt it's from xisto's side of things as usual that they are making it very difficult to change dns records. so first my websites, and then my domains, and now fish activity regaurding my account coming from india. what's next xisto?
