This new kernel comes with enabled greater than Nokia kernel chipset power saving technique called Smart Reflex. It changes voltage dynamically.
Now to overclock:
# sudo gainroot # kernel-config load dsp # kernel-config limits 500 850 # kernel-config save myconfig # kernel-config default myconfig
This basically loads new DSP profile, sets frequency limits from 500MHz to 850MHz, saves configuration and sets this as default. Try with various workloads and you should see increase in responsiveness and battery life.
BTW, do not worry about minimum 500MHz, device still sleeps at 0, this will just make it respond faster from sleep.
PS use kernel-power stable v50 or later!
